Providing Caring, Competent and Compassionate Services

Providing personal service for successful aging with dignity.

Mission Statement

"The Council on Aging of Volusia County,
in partnership with the community promotes healthy, independent living through caring, competent and compassionate services."

Welcome to the Council on Aging, a non-profit organization providing services to seniors of Volusia County.

Our Goal is Simple . . .

. . . But worthwhile. We strive to serve the diverse needs of seniors, and improve their quality of life in meaningful ways. We offer a variety of programs that promote independence.

The Council on Aging has been helping seniors deal with changes since 1967 and acts as a "gatekeeper" of most elder services in the surrounding communities.

Whether you are a senior, caregiver, family or friend let us be your guide to local services and resources by helping to provide a continuum of care for you or your loved ones.

All services are available through private pay. Government subsidized programs have specific health or income qualifications and are subject to funding limitations.

  • Customer Service will connect you to the appropriate service or agency.

  • Care Management professional will coordinate your care plan.

  • Volunteer Programs provide assignments to 50 different not-for-profit agencies.

  • Home Health Services provides medical services in the home.
